about us
Who We Are
Peter Hinkley was the head of Harrow Music Service many years ago and left a legacy which has been built on since by the generosity of parents, friends and businesses in Harrow
The Peter Hinkley Trust was set up to support and encourage young musicians in the Harrow area. Over the years, many students have benefitted from this charity, which has given children opportunities to grow and learn, experiencing music at it’s best. We believe that every child deserves to enjoy music and relish the opportunity to give a helping hand to those who may not otherwise be able to take part.
The trust supports and encourages young musicians in the Harrow area. We provide awards for musically talented children to learn and grow, experiencing music at its very best.
Over the years we’ve awarded bursaries to over 50 young musicians in the Harrow area, many of whom have gone on to careers in the music industry. Some of them feature on this website. We’re extremely proud of their achievements and the part we have played in supporting them along the way.
Providing Support For Young Musicians
We recognise the talent, passion and desire to learn in young musicians and we are dedicated to supporting their journey.
Over the years we have awarded bursaries to many talented musicians who have honed and mastered their skills, many of whom are now in a successful career.
We are proud of their achievements and honored to have been a part of their development
